ENGLISH CUSTOMS AND DAILY ROUTINES

British people have certain daily customs and routines different from other countries. Here are some of them:

  • TEA TIME:

Tea-time is a small meal eaten in the late afternoon (usually between about 3:30 and 5:00).









  • TO HAVE DINNER VERY EARLY:

British people usually leave 
work at 6 o'clock in the afternoon so at 7 o'clock they have dinner 





  • SUNDAY ROAST:

Sunday roast is a traditional meal eaten by a family at Sunday lunchtime








  • TAKE OFF YOUR SHOES:

In England many houses have carpet in all rooms. That's why, the custom when you enter the home of someone you do not know is to ask "Do you want me to take off my shoes?", So as not to dirty the carpet.
